On the evening of December 31, at Xu Dong Cultural Center Square, large crowds of city residents gathered to enjoy the art program “Hai Phong Welcomes the New Year 2026”, welcoming the moment of transition into the new year in a vibrant, warm, and hopeful atmosphere.

The art program was organized by the Xu Dong Cheo Theatre and elaborately staged with a duration of 120 minutes. With the theme “Hai Phong Welcomes the New Year 2026,” the program was structured into three chapters: Rhythm of Time, Breath of Spring, and Hai Phong Welcomes the New Year 2026, offering audiences an emotional journey from deep, lyrical melodies to a youthful and energetic atmosphere. Performances by well-known artists such as Meritorious Artists Hong Tuoi and Duc Thien, singers Dinh Quang Dat, GIANA, Hoang Van, along with professional dance troupes, left a strong impression on the audience.
Notably, at the exact moment of the New Year’s Eve countdown, the sky over the western area of the city lit up with a brilliant fireworks display, drawing the attention and excitement of thousands of residents. Amid the lively music and dazzling fireworks, people shared their wishes for a new year of peace, happiness, success, and development.
