Collective Labor Agreements Ensure Workers Rights
Collective labor agreements are often described as a mini legal system within businesses, representing a commitment between business owners and employees. In these agreements, the companys Board of Directors and the business owner pledge to uphold their obligations, and employees also agree to fulfill their own responsibilities.

Yazaki Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001, and two years later, a grassroots trade union was established within the company. The presence of a trade union ensures that workers receive the necessary care and protection for their rights and interests. Recently, the company's union has been working hard to negotiate a new collective labor agreement with the business owner, aiming to secure more benefits for the employees.

This is the fourth collective labor agreement signed between the company's union and the Board of Directors. The agreement contains several provisions that go beyond legal requirements for enterprises with foreign investment, showcasing the success of the grassroots trade union. 

To successfully negotiate collective labor agreements, many people believe that the union's Executive Committee needs to clearly understand the needs and desires of workers in order to work effectively with the Board of Directors. It is crucial that the unions are aware of the business's current situation and propose reasonable terms to enhance the chances of the agreement/.
