Hai Phong City making moves to attract more foreign investment capital
Making use of existing potential and advantages, as well as improving businesses and the investment environment, Hai Phong City has been gaining more and more investors from different countries and regions.
To date, the city has 947 FDI projects from 42 countries and territories with a total registered capital of nearly USD 25 billion, in which industrial parks and economic zones have 474 projects with more than USD 23 billion, occupying 93.6% of the whole city’s FDI-attracted capital.
In the past times, Haiphong Economic Zone Authority (HEZA) has successfully held many series of investment promotion activities in Taiwan (China), including the investment boosting workshop with the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA), drawing with more than 150 enterprises. On these occasions, Haiphong Economic Zone Authority has introduced the city's competitive advantages, as well as the attractive and preferential policies in the city’s industrial parks and economic zones, and affirmed the attention and assistance of the city government in general and HEZA in particular to all businesses and investors in the city./.
