- Technology for Urban Development in Hai Phong city for the 2001 - 2005 period
1- Objective:
* Identify scientific bases for guidelines,
projects, proposed mechanisms, policies and models relating to urban management
and development in Hai Phong city in the period of 2001 - 2005, make Hai Phong
city a national grade I city.
* Study, apply scientific research results
and technological development to urban development.
2- Content:
2.1. Urban
planning:
* Study bases for construction and measures
to implement urban development planning and strategy.
* Study bases for institutionalizing public
participation into setting up and implementing the planning.
* Study and apply information technology to
improve capacity and quality in planning.
2.2. Urban
management:
* Study bases for regulations to coordinate
functional agencies with the government in urban management and development.
* Study and apply socialization models of
urban management.
* Study and apply information technology to
urban management. Establish GIS for urban transportation, land administration,
urban planning management.
2.3. Infrastructure
development:
* Study bases of measures to improve
existing urban
* Study bases of policy to attract capital
to develop urban infrastructure and housing.
* Study measures of architecture,
construction for building up high-quality, beautiful construction works during
urban development process of Hai Phong.
* Study and apply advanced measures to
improve foundation (bored pile, vertical drain, geotextile, reinforced
retaining wall...) for civil works on weak soil of Hai Phong.
* Study and use new materials in infrastructure
construction, house building and interior decoration.
* Study and develop urban trees, public
works, improve quality of infrastructure works.
* Study on using advanced and modern
construction equipment, technology to aim at increasing productivity and
quality of construction works.
* Research information applications, such
as CAD, GIS... to improve capacity and quality of architecture, design,
construction, constructing consultation.
