STANDING BOARD OF HAIPHONG PARTY COMMITTEE WORKS AT HAIPHONG CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT

(Haiphong.gov.vn) -  On the afternoon of September 29, Mr Tran Luu Quang – member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Haiphong Party Committee, Head of Haiphong National Assembly delegation presided over the working session between Standing Board of Haiphong Party Committee and Haiphong Customs Department.

Before the working session, Mr. Tran Luu Quang – Secretary of Haiphong Party Committee, head of Haiphong National Assembly delegation, members of standing board of Haiphong Party Committee and leaders of sectors directly inspected Haiphong International Gateway Port in Lach Huyen, encouraged forces working in Tan Cang international gateway port.

At the working session, city leaders, sectors and branches acknowledged evident changes of Haiphong Customs Department in three locations: reform, discipline and professionalism, especially in viewpoint over enterprises: from objects for management to objects for companion. This way of thinking not only boots results in implementing specialized tasks but also contributes largely to the improvement process of city’s investment and business climate, bringing about maximum benefits for enterprises, especially in processing and export enterprises.

Affirming that city leaders will always listen and share opinions raised by sectors, branches and localities, party secretary Tran Luu Quang believed that digital transformation and IT application will be the key to Haiphong’s development in general and Haiphong’s customs sector in particular in the current time. He hoped that Haiphong customs will continue striving to well fulfill tasks, making sizable contributions to the building of dynamic image for the city in the new period./.
