REVENUE OF HANOI-HAI PHONG EXPRESSWAY INCREASES SHARPLY

Directorate for Roads of Viet Nam has reported to Ministry of Transport on the inspection results of toll stations on the Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway.

Accordingly, the revenue growth in 2019 of the entire Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway reached 61.9%. In particular, the tolls station at the Dinh Vu section of Hai Phong reached the largest increase of 264.7%; while the stations at Highway No. 10 reached the lowest rate of 5.5%. Regarding the total number of tolls, the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway also achieved an increase of 62.7% in revenue. The highest and lowest increases still belonged to two stations in Hai Phong and Highway No. 10, with the increases of 278.3% and 6.5%, respectively. The Directorate for Roads of Viet Nam said that the main reason for the above growth comes from the official connection between Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway and Hai Phong-Ha Long expressway from September in 2018.
