Hai Phong - Quang Ninh tourism development cooperation

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On Friday morning in Quang Ninh province, the delegation of Hai Phong city led by Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People's Committee had a meeting with the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province on tourism activities and documents needed for the Nomination of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Islands as the World Natural Heritage. Receiving and working with the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments of the two localities.  

Thanks for the help and cooperation of Quang Ninh province in the process of promoting tourism development and completing the  file of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Islands  for the nomination of world heritage site, Mr. Le Khac Nam  , Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People's Committee proposed that the two localities would agree on a plan and set of regulations on multual coordination to reopen tourism activities and exchange visitors between Hai Phong and Quang Ninh in accordance with the pandemic situation in 2 localities, completing plans on transportation time, increase travel and lodging time, ensure security and order, protect the marine environment between Ha Long and Cat Ba, closely coordinate in completing the nomination dossier for the World Natural Heritage Ha Long - Cat Ba.  Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province agreed with the opinions and proposals of Hai Phong City and affirmed that the two localities would continue to have specific plans for tourism development in the future.       

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee:  After the meeting, the two localities will have specific plans to sign a standard set of regulations on tourism activities between Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, prepare  for the pilot opening of tourism links between the two localities  from October this year .
