City leaders receive Norwegian Ambassador to Vietnam
This morning, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee received and welcomed Ms. Grete Lochen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Vietnam on the occasion of her working visit to Hai Phong.  Also attending the reception was Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.  

This morning, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee received and welcomed Ms. Grete Lochen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Vietnam on the occasion of her working visit to Hai Phong.  Also attending the reception was Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.           

Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung expressed his pleasure to welcome the Norwegian delegation to Hai Phong for the first time. He hoped the two sides will enhance multual cooperation in different fields, explore new potential and advantages for mutual cooperation and development.  Informing the delegation about the potentials, advantages and achievements of the city's socio-economic development, Hai Phong leader said that the port city wishes to strengthen the cooperation relationship between the two sides in the fields of renewable energy  and offshore wind power.  Ms. Grete Lochen , Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Vietnam thanked the city leaders for the respectful welcome . She introduced some areas that are the strengths of Norway. She said Norway is one of the countries possessing the best wind resources in the world. Offshore wind energy development is one of its development strategies.  For sustainable development , the Kingdom of Norway is aiming as well as looking for opportunities to exploit potential offshore wind markets in the world , including Hai Phong city.  The Ambassador wishes to promote the cooperation relationship between Norway and Hai Phong city in various fields in the coming time.
